I watched David Gilmour’s Wider Horizons this morning. It’s on catch up on the BBC from Saturday night. It’s extremely moving in places and inspiring too.
Alan Yentob or the post interview production skirted around Roger Waters which, given they are both on world tours with extraordinary material was interesting. David says in the interviews that he is less ambitious now but you can’t help but think that the two of them enjoy upping the ante. It certainly benefits us! You do wonder if Lennon has lived how he and Paul would have driven each other on. I love Macca but you could argue when he lost The Beatles some of the edge went.
The richness of these two Pink Floyd masters striding the globe is a great positive in our world.
